Summary. This study showed the efficacy of a new class of therapeutic agents administration in patient with ankylosing spondylitis with a high level of disease activity. It is necessary to use an ASAS recommendations and value criteria for diagnosis before anti-TNF therapy has been started. Treatment with Adalimumab in patients with ankylosing spondylitis and high level of disease activity require the absence of contraindications and could be recommended in their management.
