Diagnosis and treatment of valvular heart disease. Guidelines of Ukrainian Association of Cardiology
Summary. Summary. This recommendations provide a new statements considering the management of patients with valvular heart disease according to the contemporary standards of evidence-based medicine. In comparison with previous recommendations were renewed the patient management algorithms, widened the spectrum of indications and contraindications, also were corrected the classes of recommendations and levels of evidence according to the results of novel investigations. In particular the management algorithm of the patients with aortic stenosis was principally renewed and new recommendations relatively to transcatheter aortic valve implantation and percutaneus valvuloplasty «leaf to leaf» were provided. In addition new recommendations accent on the risk stratification and on the complex approach to the management of patients with valvular heart disease based on the concerted opinion of the experts relatively to further treatment.
