Historical these descriptions of a new illness are presented in article for the children of junior age, that afterwards got the name of the Japanese pediatricianTomisaku Kawasaki. The stages of study of illness, the difficulty in diagnosis establishment, and also merit of Kawasaki in opening of this widespread child’s systemic vasculitisare described. In 1961 Tomikasu Kawasaki was described for the first time by new and unusual symptoms for the child of 4th. Observing children with similar symptoms in future Kawasaki designated it as a «mucocutaneos lymph node syndrome with fever». He published for the first time the supervisions in 1967 in Japan and in 1974 in the English-language medical magazine. So the whole world knew about a new disease. The stage of establishment of interrelation between skin and mucous symptoms of an illness and cardiovascular complications was especially difficult.
