QUALITY OF LIFE EVALUATION, ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION IN PATIENTS WITH RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

Summary. Summary. The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality of life, the severity of anxiety and the presence of depressive disorders in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The aim of the study was to establish as of correlations with clinical characteristics of rheumatoid arthritis. We observed 76 patients with a documented diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. Quality of life was studied using SF-36 and NAIF. Quality of life in patients with rheumatoid arthritis was significantly lower compared to healthy individuals. This is due to the presence of chronic disease. Indicators of physical mobility, social function and economic status were the most were significantly reduced. The study revealed that depression and anxiety with a high frequency is detected in rheumatoid arthritis. These states correlate with clinical symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.
