ENDOTHELIAL DYSFUNCTION IN PRIMARY GOUT MEN WITH HYPERTENSION SYNDROME

Fushtey I.M.1, Rekalov D.H.2, Danyuk I.O.3

Summary. Were studied 50 men with primary gout combined with hypertension syndrome, 30 primary gout men without hypertension and 20 healthy men for researching the endothelial function. We determined the levels of serum uric acid, creatinine, cystatin C, fasting glucose, lipidogram parameters, calculated the GFR and albumin/creatinine in urine. Were conducted the reactive hyperemia test in its rheographic modification and determine the final nitric oxide metabolites. Significant deterioration of endothelial function has been related in patients with gout and hypertension. It has been determined that the concentration of serum uric acid, triglycerides and systolic blood pressure degree significantly affect to the endothelial function. Formation of endothelial dysfunction in patients with gout and hypertension occurs in parallel with the development of nephropathy and is a result of systemic disease process.
