Amyloid arthropathy in rheumatology

Summary. Amyloid arthropathy occurs in patients with primary or secondary amyloidosis due to amyloid deposition in the synovial membrane, periarticular tissue and bones. Knowledge of the clinical picture of this disease and diagnostic methods will help the doctor-rheumatologist to detect amyloidosisin time and direct the patient to specialized clinics.
