Summary. Summary. Assessment of the disease course and parent- and child-reported outcomes in juvenile arthritis is gaining increasingly greater importance in the disease management. For this purpose a multidimensional questionnaire for the assessment of juvenile arthritis (Juvenile Arthritis Multidimensional Assessment Report — JAMAR) was developed in 2011, in a form that is understandable and convenient for use by parents and children. The JAMAR consists of 15 sections and incorporates multiple disease domains for simultaneous and comprehensive assessment of the disease course. JAMAR is planned for use both as a proxy-report and as patient self-report in patients 7–18 years of age. The process of social and cross-cultural adaptation and validation of the Ukrainian version of JAMAR was conducted in accordance with international guidelines. The Ukrainian version of JAMAR has an appropriate reliability and validity levels and can be used both in routine paediatric practice and in research studies.
