Summary. The article presents generalized literature data on the differences in the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of SARS-CoV-2 infection and multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection, discusses common features and differences from other rheumatic diseases and current data on treatment. The clinical example shows the algorithm of actions of a doctor in cases of suspected multisystem inflammatory disease associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection.
